For this image i wanted to combine three thing i have always loved.
the first is retro styled imagery - specifically those type of posters and propaganda artwork from the 1940s and around WW2. The second is old aircraft, in this case a spitfire, and the third thing was ladies in suspender belts - everyone likes them....don't they :-)
So yes, basically my goal was to try and emulate that retro art feel, maybe make it look a little bit like something off the lid of an old biscuit tin?
my favorite part in terms of composition was how positioning her on the bonnet, with leg resting on the exhaust, seemed to work well, also tried to have her head breaking through the cloud line to give her significance.
